C*$k-sicles & Go Bob Rock yourself

Let me start with a big cheers to everyone that came out to our debut at the Velvet Underground on April 19th!! It is greatly appreciated and we had a blast playing for you all (no thanks to the 2 bands that pulled out the day of the show.....asshatters!!)

On a very sad note the metal world lost a great guitar player and song writer on May 2...Jeff Hanneman of "Slayer" passed away from liver failure after spending the last two and half years of his life fighting through necrotising fasciitis and various surgeries to remove the dead skin from his arm. The metal world will never be the same.....RIP Jeff Hanneman.

So we hit the recording studio last week and got the ball rolling on our first release as Desolate Rage. Marco's drums were all re-skined and setup (they sound great Marco, relax!!) and on Friday we jammed in the recording space to get a feel for the room and sound. So far so good....this week is another week of tweaking drums and getting the right sounds and hopefully next week we start tracking the drums.

So someone (I'm not gonna say who) said that 3 of us were ugly and that he was the good looking "Rock Star"....I sometimes wonder about people cause if anyone is the "Rock Star" that would be me and let's not forget that Mr Drywaller...lol. As for what's next, well Marco's drums need to be recorded before we can play another live show so until Too-Tall-Jones gets his shit together we're stuck recording drums in the studio.

Cheers to you all
J
